A cabin listing sells a setting as much as a house: the trees, the river or the lake, the hot tub after a day on the mountain, the wood stove when it's raining. I'm Alona Ishchenko, the founder and photographer behind Pacific Haus Media, and an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot. I photograph cabins, A-frames, lake houses and vacation rentals across Western Washington, and I deliver every shoot ready to upload, numbered in the order your listing should show it.
What every cabin shoot covers
- The setting from the air. Drone photos show the land, the water and how private the place is.
- Every amenity guests filter for. Hot tub, sauna, fire pit, deck, game room and the coffee setup each get their own photo.
- Every bed. Lofts and bunk rooms included, so groups can see where everyone sleeps.
- The cozy shots. A fire in the fireplace and the exterior at dusk with the lights on are available as add-ons.
- Listing order. The cover photo and the first five are chosen to sell the stay, then the rest follow the way a guest walks through.
- Video and reels if you want them. A walkthrough with drone aerials for the listing, and a vertical reel for Instagram and TikTok.
Where I travel
I'm based in Lake Forest Park, north of Seattle, and I shoot all of Greater Seattle, the Eastside and Snohomish County. For cabins and vacation rentals I also travel to:
- Sky Valley: Sultan, Gold Bar, Index and Skykomish
- Stevens Pass and Leavenworth
- Snoqualmie Pass and North Bend
- Whidbey Island and Camano Island
- The Mount Baker area
Somewhere else? Email me the address and I'll tell you if I can get there. Travel is free within 20 miles of Lake Forest Park, then $15 for each extra 10 miles, up to $60.
Packages
Cabins book the same host packages as any Airbnb, priced by home size so bigger places get more photos:
- Host Essentials, from $449: 35–90 edited HDR photos by home size, in listing order, plus drone aerial photos.
- Host Signature, from $749: the photos and drone, plus a walkthrough video with drone aerials, a vertical reel and organized folders.
Edited photos arrive by noon the next business day. See the full price table and add-ons.
Managing several rentals?
Short-term rental managers can send me a list of homes. I'll plan the visits by area, so several cabins in the same valley or on the same island are shot in one trip, and each home is delivered in its own folder.
Getting the cabin ready
Make the beds, clear the counters, open the blinds, turn on every light, and uncover the hot tub. Snow on the roof is a bonus; snow on the deck furniture is not. The room-by-room host prep checklist has the rest, with a printable PDF.
